Rep. Robert C. "Bobby" Scott Stock Trading Activity

Robert C. Scott (Democratic Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Virginia's 3rd Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 1993. His current term ends on January 3, 2025.

Scott (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Virginia's 3rd Congressional District. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Since 2011, Scott had been assigned to the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on the Judiciary.

Prior to serving in Congress, Scott was in the United States Army Reserve for four years and was a member of both chambers of the Virginia State Legislature.

After graduating from Groton High School, Scott earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard University and his J.D. from Boston College School of Law. After graduating from law school, Scott went into private practice. Scott served in the United States Army Reserve from 1970 to 1974. Five years later, he began his political career as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates.
