Quigley (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Illinois' 5th Congressional District. He declared candidacy for the 2024 election.

Quigley has been an elected public official since 1998, having previously served on the Cook County Board of Commissioners.

An attorney by profession, Quigley graduated from Roosevelt University, received a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago, and earned a law degree from the Loyola University School of Law. He worked as a lawyer and as a professor.

At the beginning of the 115th Congress, Quigley was assigned to the Committee on Appropriations and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
